Sustainable Architecture

Sustainable architecture refers to a style that incorporates recycled materials and often uses technology that reduces the structure’s impact on the environment. This style of architecture employs renewable energy sources such as solar and wind-power to produce its own electricity.  The architect often finds alternatives for the usual environmentally dangerous materials and uses more eco-friendly replacements. Architects are at the forefront of the environmental movement.
