Who Says Print Is Dead?! An Awesome Collection Of 2011 Print Advertisements

With the rise of “new media” there is a lot speculation as to the future of traditional marketing techniques. As 2012 approaches the majority of companies strategies will rely more heavily on web-based media and less so on print advertising. Yet, you should never rely solely on one medium whether that be social media, television, email, web or print advertising. It is the mixture of old and new media that makes a truly successful campaign. Don’t abandon “old” or “traditional” avenues. Still, print advertising does have to work much harder these days. It’s our job, as an advertising agency, to grab your attention with only visual means. Granted print advertising has evolved more recently with technology to allow for imbedded interaction, both web and mobile. But, let’s take a step back and look at some print ads from 2011 that have no bells and whistles, just fantastic two-dimensional creations.
