Minimalistic advertisements are stripped down to often a single image or focal point. This approach often showcases a solitary image surrounded by negative space. With so many things requiring our attention on a daily basis, it’s nice to view ads that draw that attention without the over exaggeration of clutter. When this approach is used in large campaigns it proves that even imagery stripped to its bare essentials can have a big impact.
We, at Ludlow, currently use the minimalistic approach in the work we produce for one of our clients. The client, Alpolic, produces architectural materials that are used on the interior and exterior of structures. The products have endless possibilities and applications. The purpose of this series of ads is to showcase the idea that any shape, and therefore anything, is possible with this product.
These are great. I’m definitely a minimalist at heart.
