Print media is notably the oldest form of advertising in history, with the first print advertisement dating back to the mid-15th century. As such, and as previous discussed on our blog, many believe print media to now be a lifeless means of marketing. With the rise of new media, this is understandable, but for many, print advertising continues to entertain and inspire.
To promote the Colsubsidio Book Exchange, Colombia-based advertising agency, Lowe/SSP3, created a series of whimsical ads that prove print’s persistent effectiveness. The series focuses upon the central slogan, “Come With a Story, and Leave With Another.”
“Come With Snow White, and Leave With Sherlock Holmes”
“Come With Little Red Riding Hood, and Leave With Moby Dick”
“Come With Harry Potter, and Leave With Troy”
